11:00 am
Urban Design Studio
(429 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd, former Manhattan Grill Space)

Urban green spaces can do more than beautify cities, they can influence health, improve social cohesion and more. The upcoming Greenprint Open Studio will be a conversation with our guest Dr. Pablo Knobel from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Siniai. Dr. Knobel is an environmental epidemiologist whose work includes the development of tools to assess urban green spaces in Barcelona. Our conversation will explore how trees, parks and green infrastructure impact human health, as well as the design, social and policy dimensions of urban green spaces.

Join us at the UofL Urban Design Studio at 11 am on Tuesday, November 4th as we explore urban nature and city health with Dr. Pablo Knobel.

Open Studio events are free and open to the public, however seating is limited to 20 people to facilitate open and constructive dialog in a conversational setting. Due to limited seating, please RSVP with Patrick Piuma via email at your earliest convenience as seats tend to fill up quickly.
