Construction for phase one of the Trager MicroForest Project is seeing rapid progress. The central forest area has been completely backfilled with new soil. The completion of the soil backfill allowed Full Care to begin more work on electrical and irrigation roughing, which is now near-complete.
The benches that were delivered at the end of July were able to be put into place along the exterior of the new path. You may also notice in some of these pictures that mulch now envelops much of the site, this was done last week in order to improve the aesthetics of the site until construction is complete.
Clinical trials for the MicroForest research study on the effects of short-term green exposure in an urban environment (IRB #23.0437) are continuing this week. If you wish to participate, you can find more information here.
