Last September, we held an Open Studio event with TARC to discuss the future of the agency and its bus network. The conversation will continue as TARC moves forward with phase 2 of their TARC 2025 plan. Since the last meeting, they have released draft plans of what the redesigned bus network may look like.

TARC connects our community to jobs, schools, medical appointments, shopping, entertainment and to each other. We take this responsibility very seriously and are committed to providing exceptional service. However, TARC is facing historic financial challenges and a looming deficit. Action must be taken now to ensure the system’s long-term sustainability.
TARC 2025: Moving Forward Together is a key strategy to address this challenge and better meet our shared priorities. It is also an important opportunity to redesign Louisville’s transit network to update and innovate service to better match the current and future needs of the Louisville region.

Join us, along with staff from TARC for the next Open Studio Session at the UofL Urban Design Studio at 11 am on Wednesday, April 30th as we explore the upcoming changes and opportunities.

Open Studio events are free and open to the public, however seating is limited to 20 people to facilitate open and constructive dialog in a conversational setting. Due to limited seating, RSVP with Patrick Piuma via email at your earliest convenience as seats tend to fill up quickly.
